Critical Analysis of Tess Transit Photometric Data: Improved Physical Properties for Five Exoplanets

Abstract We present improved physical parameters for four hot Jupiters: KELT-7 b, HAT-P-14 WASP-29 WASP-95 and a Neptune: WASP-156 by performing critical rigorous analysis of the time-series observations from Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). Being space-based telescope, transit photometric data obtained TESS are free any noise component due to interference Earth’s atmosphere. In our observed data, we have used reduction techniques, e.g., wavelet denoising Gaussian process regression, in order effectively reduce components that arise other sources, such as various instrumental effects stellar activity pulsations. The better quality TESS, combined with state-of-the-art technique, has resulted more accurate precise values properties target exoplanets than reported earlier works.
